Ahri Deck Guide 2026: Build Data + Standard Decklist

Subject of Legend Research #6 (2026-09-16): the series' most volatile legend — none of her 8 records reached a top 8, averaging 7.1, the series' lowest. That makes her data the most instructive: which slots are settled and which are still open battlegrounds.
Direct answer
Ahri is the most divergent Calm+Mind legend: across 8 records only Steadfast Poro, Discipline, Starfall and Thousand-Tailed Watcher are unanimous, with a block of six cards at 62% forming the skill slots. Runes 6 Calm / 6 Mind, Sacred Grove 8/8. Unpopular but explosive — at the 52-player 9/26 event, Ahri (just 9% of the field) won the final 3-0.

Build data: core cards
- Only four cards at 100%: Steadfast Poro, Discipline, Starfall, Thousand-Tailed Watcher — all near-3-ofs (2.8+ average), her hardest core
- Struggle and Prepare for Battle (87% each), Hexbeam (75%) are the "5th–7th core cards"
- Below that, six cards — Self-Discovery, Clockwork Steward, Time Warp, Blitz - Detached, Reminisce, Rune Prison — all sit at 62%: every Ahri player has their own "cards 11–16"
Flex slots and findings
- The opposite extreme from Sett's ten-card skeleton — Ahri has the series' most flex slots and the highest build freedom
- Champion slot unsettled: Ahri - Curious starts in 75%; Ahri - Alluring has only appeared in sideboards
- At the 52-player 9/26 event, only five players ran Ahri (9%) — and won the whole event 3-0 without dropping a game, beating Master Yi in the final
Runes and battlefields
Runes near-settled: 6 Calm / 6 Mind, no exceptions in 8 records. Battlefields 100% again: Sacred Grove in all 8 — the series' fourth unanimous battlefield in a row. Second slot: Trefilian Barracks (5); third slot still open.
Sideboard
The sideboard is more settled than the main deck: Adapt is the only card in all 8 lists; Wind Wall and Rune Prison follow.
Domain pair
Calm
CalmDefensive counterplay. Reaction, Shield and Tank all rank near the top, on one of the cheapest curves (avg 3.6). Hold battlefields with an inexpensive line, bank points every turn, and punish attacks with reaction cards.
Mind
MindTrap control. The most Hidden cards in the pool — set cards face-down and spring them at the worst moment for your opponent. With heavy Reaction and Vision-driven information, it plays a mind game of unseen threats.

Is Ahri good?
Two-sided: at research time (9/16) none of her 8 records made a top 8, averaging a series-low 7.1; but at the 52-player 9/26 event, Ahri — 9% of the field — swept the event without dropping a game. High ceiling, high deck-building and piloting demands.
What are Ahri's core cards?
Only four are unanimous: Steadfast Poro, Discipline, Starfall, Thousand-Tailed Watcher. Struggle and Prepare for Battle (87%), Hexbeam (75%) follow; the six 62% cards are the skill slots.
Which runes and battlefields?
6 Calm / 6 Mind, zero exceptions in 8 records. Sacred Grove 8/8 (the series' fourth unanimous battlefield); Trefilian Barracks 5 for slot two; no third-slot consensus.
Is Ahri hit by the 9/18 banlist?
Slightly: 2 of 8 records used Echo (Rewind) (1 main, 1 side). The research post's standard list runs no banned cards.
